THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR CHILD AND GRINDING TEETH
Grinding teeth is common for children during sleep, but it is not stress-related as you may think. Typically, it’s because of the anatomy of the jaw joint and stops when your child’s permanent teeth come in or after the jaw joint matures.
If you notice grinding noises when your child sleeps or they complain of a sore jaw or pain while chewing, contact us to schedule an appointment. We can examine their teeth for chipped enamel and may prescribe a night guard.
